Is it okay to draw slowly?

So I've been practicing my lines with warm-ups and focusing on precision first, so I'm doing overlapping lines. I used to draw the lines fast enough so I didn't have to think about precision, but now when I do that, my ink runs out quickly. On the other hand, if I draw slowly, my ink doesn't run out quickly, but that makes it harder to get the line to come out wavy. Fortunately, by looking at the end point and making my strokes slow, I realize that most of the time they do come out smooth, but I don't know if it will benefit me or anything for my warm-ups.... I feel like it's about finding the balance between the two, but I still feel unsure. What do you think?
