Hi :) Congratulations on completing Level 1! I'm going to critique your work today, and hopefully we can get moving on to the next assignment!

Lines

Superimposed lines - Your lines are confident with a nice flow to them, and your experimented with different lengths. You also have a definite starting point for each stroke which shows that you are giving yourself time to think before starting your stroke. As expected, the longer lines do fray and wobble more at the far end, but this is something that improves with time and practice. One suggestion is that you might want to experiment with a few curved superimposed lines later as well.

Ghosted lines - Youre ghosted lines are looking good! Some of the lines arc somewhat. One cause of this is the natural curve that occurs when we switch from one pivot point in our arm to another. It looks like it happens when your arm starts opening up towards the end of your long strokes. Something that can help with this is to intentionally slightly arc your longer lines in the opposite direction, so your brain gets rewired to expect the correct motion to achieve a straight line.

Ghosted Planes - You have a nice variety of different planes here. We have a bit of wobbling, but that also might just be the page warping slightly? Overall, nice planning and execution of your strokes.

Ellipses

Tables of Ellipses - Everything looking good here! Your ellipses are nice and smooth. Ideally, we try to draw through them just twice. 3x is okay, but try not to go more than that.

Ellipses in Planes - Your ellipses touch all four sides and your lines are confident and flow smoothly. Again, watch out for drawing over your ellipses too many times.

Funnels - Your funnels look great! Your ellipses touch the sides of the funnel and they align nicely to the central minor axis line.

Boxes

Plotted Perspective - This looks really clean. You used a ruler, and your boxes look solid. I really like how you experimented with different sizes of boxes. Most of the hatching is done really well as well :)

Rough Perspective - These look good. You drew through your boxes and applied line extensions correctly. Nice work!

Rotated Boxes - This is impressively well done! Your gaps are tight and consistent, they rotate nicely, and you drew the entire set of boxes as well as through all of them. Nice job keeping track of all the lines!

Organic Boxes - Everything here looks great! You have some nice solid boxes, that slowly converge and gradually get larger as they come along the line. Quick note, usually we hatch just one face of our boxes.

Great job on completing level 1! The only two things I would note are: 1) See if you can cut down on the number of times you draw through your ellipses, and 2) Just being picky on a small detail, but maybe look into making your dots a bit smaller, so that when you draw a line, the line will swallow up the dots. Overall, everything you did here was well thought out and cleanly executed. Nice work :)
