Hi, I tried uploading the Organic Perspective pages but the response was I would have to pay for another credit. Do I have to pay again or is there another way that this is done?

Sorry about the missing pages I'm not quite sure how that happened. They're all together in my folder, so, I don't know.

Benj, I just checked out my reddit homework lesson 1 submission and the 2 page Organic Perspective work was there. So, I don't know what's going on.

Hey hey; yeah, I'm not sure how I missed that. Sorry to have kept you waiting. By the way, you wouldn't have to pay an extra credit for a missing page, or a revision, you'd just reply to my comment with a link to it (for future reference, I mean). Let me look at this, and then ask for some revisions.

So, this exercise has the usual issues with line confidence, and automatic reinforcing, but the boxes themselves look good - really good, in fact. Their size and foreshortening is spot-on, and the compositions are really interesting, too, as per all of the overlaps.

Next Steps:

So all I'm going to need to see is another stab at the very basics. Please give me 1 page of ghosted planes, and 1 page of the table of ellipses exercise. Remember that confidence is your #1 (really, only) priority, and you may take some time to experiment with different speeds before you start, to find out what works for you.

When finished, reply to this critique with your revisions.

Like the Staedtlers, these also come in a set of multiple weights - the ones we use are F. One useful thing in these sets however (if you can't find the pens individually) is that some of the sets come with a brush pen (the B size). These can be helpful in filling out big black areas.

Still, I'd recommend buying these in person if you can, at a proper art supply store. They'll generally let you buy them individually, and also test them out beforehand to weed out any duds.
