Getting back after some time off

Hello fellow brawlers and masters, wish you all happy holidays!

It's been quite a ride throughout my first few months of university! Although it's been very enjoyable, I have to say I've been quite busy. I haven't practiced Drawabox for about 2 and a half months now. As holidays are here, so is free time! My question, no doubt asked numerous times, is for those who have been in a similar situation or for some insight on how to get back on track. I am halfway through lesson 3. Should I redo lesson 3? A few exercises? Reread it? I think I'm going to reread all the lessons thus far and maybe redo some exercises. I would greatly appreciate any advice! Hopefully this isn't off-topic.

Happy holidays!

Definitely go back and re-read everything, since there's been a few updates since you've been gone. Other than that, make sure you do some warm-ups and pick up where you left off - it's up to you whether that means the start of lesson 3, or the halfway point where you left it.

Thank you for your reply META, will definitely do that!

Cheers!

Staedtler Pigment Liners

These are what I use when doing these exercises. They usually run somewhere in the middle of the price/quality range, and are often sold in sets of different line weights - remember that for the Drawabox lessons, we only really use the 0.5s, so try and find sets that sell only one size.

Alternatively, if at all possible, going to an art supply store and buying the pens in person is often better because they'll generally sell them individually and allow you to test them out before you buy (to weed out any duds).
