Looking at your branches, I don't think you entirely took what I explained previously to heart. As shown here, you've got plenty of instances where you only extended your segments slightly instead of fully halfway to the next ellipse.

Your other constructions are looking solid, aside from the dragonfruit. The dragonfruit was actually a pretty fair attempt, but I think you got a little too overwhelmed by its complexity, and it impeded how you approached the individual steps, and also got in the way of your spatial reasoning. Here's how I'd approach it - as you can see, it's actually pretty close to how you did, but I was very focused at every step precisely on what I was doing. If I was focused on drawing the flow line for a leaf, that was my only concern.

Anyway, since you're still not doing the branches correctly, I want to see another page of those. Be sure to reread what I mentioned in my previous critique on that topic.

Next Steps:

One more page of branches.

When finished, reply to this critique with your revisions.

I did my best to make sure to go halfway for each segment this time, though I'm sure I did not get it exactly... and on a couple of them I missed the ellipse by a bit or didn't curve enough and it wound up looking stiff... more ways to improve though~ at least I think I'm getting to the point where I can see my errors nearly as I make them.

Thank you again for everything you do here!

Much better! I'll mark this lesson as complete.

Next Steps:

Move onto lesson 4.

A lot of my students use these. The last time I used them was when I was in high school, and at the time I felt that they dried out pretty quickly, though I may have simply been mishandling them. As with all pens, make sure you're capping them when they're not in use, and try not to apply too much pressure. You really only need to be touching the page, not mashing your pen into it.

In terms of line weight, the sizes are pretty weird. 08 corresponds to 0.5mm, which is what I recommend for the drawabox lessons, whereas 05 corresponds to 0.45mm, which is pretty close and can also be used.
