Hey there, I will be critiquing your lesson 2 work
Organic Arrows
-The linework on your organic arrows is turning out nice and confident. I also notice your arrows have perspective in them, which is great. I would like to mention something about the lineweight, however. I see that you used lineweight on particulary longer sections of the arrows when it should be more focused on overlapping areas. You can also work on decreasing the negative space between the ziggzagging sections as the arrow moves further away from the veiwer.
I might also suggest that you experiment with different lengths or widths for your arrows a bit more. You can of course do this with your warm-ups
Organic Forms with Contours
-You've done well with keeping your sausage forms a consistent width. It's good to see no pinching or swelling throughout their length. I also see that you are aware of the degree shifts, but it isn't necessary to add a lot of contours to the drawing. You can still convey the forms by adding less. Otherwise, these look great.
I also noticed the same things with your ellipses. You drew a few to many ellipses and that can easily flatten the drawing.
Textures
-Your work on the texture analysis has turned out nicely. You did well with filling the cast shadows in boldy with ink and you achieved a nice transition from the high density details to the sparse areas. Great work on this
I see in your dissections that you improved on the degree shifts with the ellipses. For the details, you did well with adding in bold lines and shapes to fill in the textures. You also followed the form of the sausage well, along with breaking the sillhoette for shape.
Form Intersections & Organic Intersections
It seems like you are grasping this concept and your forms feel very solid and confident. Linework looks great here.
For the organic intersections, your cast shadows and forms look very improved. It might be better to lessen the amount of sausages you draw and to make them more consistent shapes and sizes, otherwise, this work is good.
Also, there is no need to worry about remaking organic arrows and forms. The difference between the earlier work and the later work shows me that you are improving. Keep it up
