Finished exercise pages , a tedious experience but fruitful at last.
Hello I'll be covering your HW. Please make sure things are uploaded in order so there is no mix-up. Also make sure when takign the pictures, the other assignments are out of frame. Just so they aren't distracting.
Superimposed lines: A little messy but I think you got the idea.
Ghosted Lines: A number of the lines appear wobbly not as confident.
Ghosted Planes: A little rough, but line work is better.
Table of Elipses: Overall good job.
Elipses in a Plane: Can see a solid attempt and understanding.
Funnels: Elipses appear better.
Plotted Perspective: No issues here.
Rough Perspective: I see a few issues here. A couple boxes don't have lines, one has lines going way off.
Rotated Boxes: Yeah this is definitly going to need a revision.
Organic Perspective: Not bad but I think another attempt woudl help.
Next Steps:
So what I would like to see is one more attempt on organic perspective, roatated boxes for sure, and rough perspecitve each. I think what can help is just re-reading the insturcitons.
Thank you for the critique and time for calling out mistakes, here are the new ones.
Much better. I think now you are ready to move on.
Next Steps:
Just remember to read the directions carefully.
This is another one of those things that aren't sold through Amazon, so I don't get a commission on it - but it's just too good to leave out. PureRef is a fantastic piece of software that is both Windows and Mac compatible. It's used for collecting reference and compiling them into a moodboard. You can move them around freely, have them automatically arranged, zoom in/out and even scale/flip/rotate images as you please. If needed, you can also add little text notes.
When starting on a project, I'll often open it up and start dragging reference images off the internet onto the board. When I'm done, I'll save out a '.pur' file, which embeds all the images. They can get pretty big, but are way more convenient than hauling around folders full of separate images.
Did I mention you can get it for free? The developer allows you to pay whatever amount you want for it. They recommend $5, but they'll allow you to take it for nothing. Really though, with software this versatile and polished, you really should throw them a few bucks if you pick it up. It's more than worth it.
