Hi, I'll be critiquing your work =]. In terms of digital things: just make sure you don't use a brush/pen that is pressure-sensitive, and try to emulate as much of the traditional environment as you can. Of course the course is supposed to be done traditionally, but I'm breaking that rule as well so I'm not going to give you any hell for that haha.
What I can already say is that some of your assignments need revisions, so I unfortunately can't send you off further into the course, but I'll talk about the specifics when we get there.
I'll be critiquing your work per exercise, and it's going to be a decently long read, so be prepared.
Lines
Superimposed lines: looking good! Fraying is only on one end, which is perfectly fine. Your straight lines are generally very straight, but there does seem to be a little bit of wobbling going on. Don't forget that it's more important to have confident, smooth strokes rather than lines that follow the right trajectory.
Ghosted lines: a lot of curving going on unfortunately. Since this is the first exercise where you ghost your lines, it's pretty much forgivable, I'd advice you to find a comfortable angle at which you can draw your lines the most straightly, this can take a while to nail though. Since they do seem to reach the mark almost always I can see you're going for accuracy, which is good, but it's always second to straight, smooth lines!
Ghosted planes: your lines are getting straighter, but I still see lots of curving going on, so I'll advice you to ghost a bit more. Also, while in general your attempt looks good, you haven't actually finished the exercise. You're supposed to not only put down the diagonal lines, you should also bisect all the sides of your quadrilateral. This way you get even more muscle memory when it comes to ghosting. So for each enclosed space you make, you essentially have to draw 8 lines. Other than that, good job!
Ellipses
Tables of ellipses: you're generally drawing through your ellipses 2-3 times, which is recommended, good job. They also look quite smooth, not a lot of wobbliness. They can still use a little bit of work when it comes to uniformness, I suggest you practice the ellipse-drawing motion a little more by doing a bit more of ghosting. Also, you should attempt to get your ellipses to fit snugly in between the borders of your frame, as well as neighbouring ellipses. You should try to avoid having them 'float'. I am happy to see that you were experimenting with lots of different degrees, noice! Your attempt is barely passable, so I'm not going to ask you to redo this one. What I will recommend is to keep this one in your warmup for a while.
Ellipses in planes: Great attempt, your ellipses look generally quite uniform! Next step is to try and get your ellipses to also touch all four sides while still keeping them uniform :)
Funnels: Noice! Keep in mind that the minor axis of your ellipses should also be in line with the minor axis of your funnel, meaning that your ellipse should be at its widest when it crosses the line (the minor axis of the funnel), and it should be orientated perpendicular to that line as well. Rotating your canvas slightly could help with that.
Boxes
Plotted perspective: Don't forget to make frames! Other than that, looks good.
Rough perspective: Pretty good attempt, your horizontal & vertical lines are pretty horizontal and vertical respectively :) I do see some divergence going on sometimes, pay special attention to that. It's great that you're checking your convergences, but they should only be extended to the horizon line. Any more than that will clutter your image and make it harder for you and others to check your work!
Rotated boxes: You only had to do one of them rather than four. Since this course isn't about grinding until you nail each exercise, I will only look at the top left one. You have a great deal of rotation going on, noice! I don't see points everywhere but I do see some of them, so I'll assume that you ghosted each line. Which means that you've done an amazing job at keeping your lines straight and having them actually hitting the mark! You're also drawing through your forms, coolcool. What I did notice was that you forgot to draw two lines, meaning that you should really check your work before you send it in. All in all, a pretty great attempt!
Organic boxes: It would've been nice if you'd done 3 frames per page instead of 2, but this way is fine as well. I see a decent amount of size difference, but it wouldn't hurt to have your boxes overlap a bit more, and to draw one huge box where most of it is cutoff from the frame. The boxes themselves don't look too wonky, but your convergences could use a little work. Keep in mind that you don't always have to ghost to your plotted points. If you see that the point you put down isn't completely in line, you could either: put down another point that does follow the right trajectory, or you could ghost slightly towards the first point instead of completely. This may help to reduce your convergence errors.
All in all, looking pretty good! Your next step is to redo the ghosted planes exercise, upload it and your work can be re-evaluated!
Next Steps:
Redo the ghosted planes exercise. Remember to read the instructions very thoroughly, and watch the video as well just to be sure.
Pick 2-3 exercises and do a 10-15 min warmup. Good luck!
