Hello. Id like to say to say that you did a pretty good job with this however i do have some critiques that could help with your understanding of these subject matters :) (hopefully at least)

Lines:

In terms of your Superimposed they arent bad. There is a little bit of minor fraying at the beginning but it could be my eyes playing tricks on me. Otherwise they're smooth and consistent and thats all that matters as of now

Ghosted lines: nice and clean and actually pretty accurate. They're a couple lines that arch but that could be because the page was getting cluttered if it wasnt arch in the opposite direction consciously. They're also a couple that wobble alittle bit now thats ive noticed but overall not bad

Ghosted planes: Nice job some do miss their points little bit and some do have a little wobble. But most of the lines are clean and consistent. We can always work on accuracy after we work on clean lines

Ellipses:

Tables of Ellipses: i noticed that your ellipses arent hitting the bounds of the tables. Also noticed that your ellipses arent being drawn through at least 2-3 times as this will help you be more confident with your ellipses

Ellipses in planes: some are floating alittle bit (by that i mean they dont hit all 4 sides of the square/plane) some actually hit little bit too far out the box but overall thumbs up

Funnels:

Ocassionally your ellipses wont be cut in halfs by the minor axis/normal vector and while your ellipses arent shifting in their degrees its not a mistake thats noted by uncomfy so i wont count it as one. However at a certain point you should be probably strive for this. Your ellipses also occasionally go outside the bounds of the funnels a little bit.

Boxes

Plotted Perspective: there is virtually nothing wrong with these. They dont have any distortion good job

Rough Perspective: You did good. All the height lines are perpendicular to horizon and width lines parallel. Line correction is good and there was no guessing nice job

*The Rotated Boxes: virtually everybody struggles with these to at least some degree but dont fret you did the exercises correctly and the best you could all the corners betweens boxes are close and as of my current knowledge at this moment the boxes are actually rotating alittle you did your best

Organic Perspective: your boxes convergences do sometimes become alittle wonky but overall you did your best and dont worry you will get tons of practice with boxes as you do the 250 box challenge

you will get tons of practice with these when you do your warmups in general. Im gonna mark this lesson as complete good job mate

Next Steps:

i recommend you practice your ellipses for your warmups of course dont stop practicing the others but its good to tackle your weakpoints as of now you should also get acquainted with the instructions of the 250 box challenge (*trust me you dont wanna redraw all 250 of those damn boxes because you didn't know/follow the instructions)

otherwise always feel free to reread and rewatch lesson material as it will help you absorb material and understand the concepts more

This community member feels the lesson should be marked as complete, and 2 others agree. The student has earned their completion badge for this lesson and should feel confident in moving onto the next lesson.

The Art of Blizzard Entertainment

While I have a massive library of non-instructional art books I've collected over the years, there's only a handful that are actually important to me. This is one of them - so much so that I jammed my copy into my overstuffed backpack when flying back from my parents' house just so I could have it at my apartment. My back's been sore for a week.

The reason I hold this book in such high esteem is because of how it puts the relatively new field of game art into perspective, showing how concept art really just started off as crude sketches intended to communicate ideas to storytellers, designers and 3D modelers. How all of this focus on beautiful illustrations is really secondary to the core of a concept artist's job. A real eye-opener.
