Hello, I'll be reviewing your lesson 1 work.

I hope that this critique will help you improve.

Lines

You did well on superimposed lines. Executed confidently. some fraying on the other end but that's to be expected. Arching lines on the longer lines, nothing practice can't fix. just remember to put in a conscious effort to stop the arching.

The wobbling lines are a sign of hesitance to execute the mark. Remember that once you put the pen down that you commit to the mark with full confidence.

Ghosted lines look good.

Ellipses in planes look good. Drawn with confidence, 2 passes. Although, some are deformed, and out of the plane's bounds. Nonetheless practice makes perfect.

Ellipses

Did well on the first Tables of Ellipses exercise. Your second page feels rushed. Remember to take your time and ghost everything.

Ellipses on the Funnels exercise are within bounds. However, I see that the minor axis (line through the middle) isn't splitting the ellipses in symmetrical halves.

Boxes

On your Plotted Perspective, I see that you didn't pull the line all the way back to the VP. Nonetheless, you did well.

The lines on the Rough Perspective pages were repeated. Do not repeat lines. This'll help you come to mistakes in the long-term, and makes the mistakes stand out less. On the second page I see that your ghosting towards the VP improved, and the lines look a lot cleaner.

Rotated Boxes is a really, really hard exercise and it isn't expected to be perfect. You rotated the boxes to the best of ability. A few of your boxes feel rushed, Remember to take your time and be patient. The boxes are drawn tight and confidently.

For the Organic Perspective exercises. You improved a bit. on the second page. There are diverging lines. However, you'll work on that in the 250 boxes challenge.

Good job. Have patience while doing the 250 boxes challenge.

All of these will go into your 10 - 15 minutes warm ups pool.
