Alright, that's better! You haven't drawn the intersections in one single line though, so remember you should always draw them with a ghosted simple line.

Now I want you to make one more insect drawing, make sure you draw through forms and draw the intersections of each forms, good luck!

Alright that's better! Only thing that comes to my mind is that your marks are sometimes a bit too heavy, make sure that on the intersections you only draw one curve, don't repeat the lines so it's clearer to see what you were trying to do!

Another thing is the page, I think that you might be drawing a bit too small, try to make fit the drawing well into the page, don't draw on a corner, and when taking a photo take a photo of the whole page, not just a crop so I can see it easier.

That being said, great job and good luck on lesson 5! Keep up the good work

Like the Staedtlers, these also come in a set of multiple weights - the ones we use are F. One useful thing in these sets however (if you can't find the pens individually) is that some of the sets come with a brush pen (the B size). These can be helpful in filling out big black areas.

Still, I'd recommend buying these in person if you can, at a proper art supply store. They'll generally let you buy them individually, and also test them out beforehand to weed out any duds.
