Hello, I will be critiquing your work.

Lines

  • starting with your superimposed lines most of them are drawn confidently. Some of the longer lines are arching a bit in the middle but that should improve with practice.

  • the ghosted lines are looking confident.

  • your ghosted planes are also turning out good.

Ellipses

  • the ellipses in the table are drawn confidently and 2-3 times. Overall this is also done nicely.

  • the ellipses in the planes are also drawn 2-3 times but some of them are a little wobbly and shooting a little out of plane but this should also improve with practice.

  • in the funnel exercise all of the ellipses are drawn correctly but some ellipses are not aligned to the minor axis and you should also aim to vary the degree of ellipses. Otherwise this turned out good.

Boxes

  • your rough perspective is looking good but the estimation for the vanishing points are a bit off but overall nicely done

  • the rotated boxes exercise is looking confident and are also rotating.

  • the boxes in the organic perspective are drawn confidently and are converging accordingly.

Overall the exercises of this lesson are done quiet neatly

Always use these lessons in your warmup routine.

How to Draw by Scott Robertson

How to Draw by Scott Robertson

When it comes to technical drawing, there's no one better than Scott Robertson. I regularly use this book as a reference when eyeballing my perspective just won't cut it anymore. Need to figure out exactly how to rotate an object in 3D space? How to project a shape in perspective? Look no further.
