Hola! Esta lección ha sido algo dura con la parte de intersecciones y la texturas. Aun asi estoy muy contento de mi esfuerzo y de compartirlo con vosotros. Cualquier critica será bien recibida!

Hi~

ARROWS

The perspective is well applied here. Your arrows look like they're going further away from the viewer and as they move away the width of the ribbon decrease. Work on your line quality, the lines do not flow smoothly, do not forget that we should apply the ghosting method for every line we draw.

CONTOUR LINES AND ELLIPSES

The silhouette of the sausages is consistent and simple, nice. The degree of the ellipses is almost not changing and you used too many of them. The contour lines are a bit wobbly but overall the look like they are wrapping around the sausage. Keep doing them as part of your warm ups and practice doing just ellipses with different degrees.

TEXTURE ANALYSIS

It looks nice tbh. Not a lot to say. The transition from shadow to light it is smooth and you worked on the cast shadows and the big silhouettes and then move to smaller details. Just avoid leaving the white spaces into the black, they can be a bit distracting.

DISSECTIONS

Yours are better than mine so I do not have a lot to say here.

FORM INTERSECTIONS

You fulfilled the purpose of the exercise, there are no weird perspective and no dramatic foreshortening which means that all of them are existing in the same space.

ORGANIC INTERSECTIONS

The only thing to point out is the lines, there are a lot of chicken scratches and some shadows aren't wrapping around the sausage, they look a bit stiff, they most to be wrapping by following the contour of the object they're casting.

Keep in mind the things that have been mentioned and move to the next lesson :)

Do you use the ghost lines method for all your lines?

7:34 PM, Tuesday January 12th 2021

Yep, all the time. Sometimes it is a bit tiring because I spend more time thinking about it that doing the drawing... hahaha

But I think that my lines has improved a lot since I started using it. In further lessons you will need it even more and I find that using it make me feel a bit more confident about the results of my drawings

Thanks for the time and effort. I like it because I sensed those flaws in myself but reading it from someone else helps!

Your welcome! It make me feel relief if this can help you even a bit. Keep going and I hope you will improve even more :)

A lot of my students use these. The last time I used them was when I was in high school, and at the time I felt that they dried out pretty quickly, though I may have simply been mishandling them. As with all pens, make sure you're capping them when they're not in use, and try not to apply too much pressure. You really only need to be touching the page, not mashing your pen into it.

In terms of line weight, the sizes are pretty weird. 08 corresponds to 0.5mm, which is what I recommend for the drawabox lessons, whereas 05 corresponds to 0.45mm, which is pretty close and can also be used.
