Hello!

Lines:

You are missing a page of the superimposed lines exercise. However, good job on making smooth, confident lines.

Ellipses:

Go over your drawn ellipses 2-3 times. This is in the instructions.

Many of your ellipses have wobbly lines. Making sure your ellipses are made of smooth marks should be your first priority. After you can produce smooth and confident lines, you can focus on shaping the ellipses so they are within the bounds. This is just like in the lines homework. Make sure you are drawing with your shoulder as well, I think ellipses can really help teach this.

Boxes:

Make sure to ghost your lines, this is especially important for the 250 box challenge. Also, make sure to only complete the requested number of pages (you did an extra page of rotated boxes, which counts as grinding). On the organic perspective exercise, some of the boxes are foreshortened too much... They basically get small too quickly. Otherwise, good job on this section (it's supposed to be really hard).

I'm requesting a couple revisions, but I think you did a good job overall.

Next Steps:

Please upload a page of superimposed lines.

I'm going to ask you to do 1 page of tables of ellipses. Please reread the homework assignment and watch the video, carefully. Rewatching the drawabox videos on drawing with the shoulder might help too, if you are confused on that.

Thank you!

When finished, reply to this critique with your revisions.

I'm gonna practice being aware of your critics. I want to do all over again lesson 1 after the 250 box challenge because im aware of all those mistakes. I struggled a lot doing elipses and boxes, while doing lines i was very comfortable. I'll search the missing superimposed line page and do another page of tables of ellipses as you said.

Thank you very much!! Love this page

Glad to hear I can help! Your work doesn't have to be perfect, I just asked for revisions because I wanted to make sure you understood the ellipse lesson before moving on. Just relax and make quick, confident marks - it doesn't matter if they look weird. Good luck! :)

I know but we all have that weird idea of redoing things until we make it almost perfect haha I've already upload the missing page of imposed lines and another table of elipses :)

A lot of my students use these. The last time I used them was when I was in high school, and at the time I felt that they dried out pretty quickly, though I may have simply been mishandling them. As with all pens, make sure you're capping them when they're not in use, and try not to apply too much pressure. You really only need to be touching the page, not mashing your pen into it.

In terms of line weight, the sizes are pretty weird. 08 corresponds to 0.5mm, which is what I recommend for the drawabox lessons, whereas 05 corresponds to 0.45mm, which is pretty close and can also be used.
