Lines:
1. Superimposed Lines
• Lines are consistent and not wobbly. I notice some of your longer lines have cases of fraying on both ends so it's best taking your time to place your pen correctly at the starting point. Your longer lines do have tendencies of arcing but not that noticeable. If you're confident that you had drawn from the shoulder but the problem still persists, you can try this Tip from the lesson by consciously arcing your line slightly in the opposite direction.
2. Ghosted Lines
• I think you forgot to include the ghosted lines exercise. You left them lines ghosted fr :(.
3. Ghosted Planes
• Remember to read the instructions of the exercise carefully cause your planes are not finished :(. I will refrain from critiquing them until you have finished the exercise.
Ellipses:
1. Tables of Ellipses
• I see you struggle a bit with some of your smaller ellipses as they're a bit wobbly and not quite fit against the borders. Otherwise, some of your bigger ellipses are smoother and I can tell you're making attempts of trying to fit them against the borders. This can be improved through practicing later as warm-ups as long as you remember to employ the ghosting method correctly and engage your whole arm from the shoulder.
2. Ellipses in Planes
• Remember to have your ellipses touch all 4 edges of the plane. Otherwise, I think the ellipses are quite smoothly executed.
3. Funnels
• You forgot to include this exercise as well, which make the FUNnels very SADnels :(. (Sorry, I'm on my silly juice again).
Boxes
1. Plotted Perspective
• The lesson requires us to do everything in this exercise with a ruler (including the hatching). It seems to me that you've done this exercise free-hand. The placement of your vanishing points should be placed on either end, close to the edge of the frame and not far away from the frame. You can change the position of your horizon line (either slightly up, in the middle or slightly under) but not the vanishing points. The horizontal edges are not being plotted back to the vanishing points correctly either. I'm sorry to inform you this (even though you had gone through this exercise twice). I would recommend you redo this exercise and read through the instructions carefully again. It's best to always give yourself as much time as you require to go through the instructions thoroughly, and strive to follow them as closely as possible, as the course is designed in a specific manner.
2. Rough Perspective
• The results would have turned out better and less messy if you had drawn 4-5 big boxes (or 6 at most) as recommended from the lesson (And if possible, another color for the line extensions that can visibly separate from the rest of your work would help too.) That way, it will be easier for us to analyze how far off from the vanishing point our line extensions actually hit the horizon. Otherwise, your front and back faces of the boxes do compose of horizontals that are parallel to the horizon line, and verticals that are perpendicular to it so I believe you have a fair grasp on the purpose of this exercise. Some of the lines are getting gradually smoother and more consistent at this exercise so that's good. However, I do see some attempts of trying to connect the stray lines with the designated marks. Remember to draw from the shoulder and apply the ghosting method as much as you need before committing one, confident line.
3. Rotated Boxes (or should i say bawkses lol)
• I would recommend you redo this exercise as well. It think it was going pretty good for the nine boxes that runs along the vertical and the horizontal axis. But everything else were falling around. The gaps between each box should be narrow and consistent. Adding some line weights and hatching in the end will help you distinguish each box and clear up the confusion over the many lines at play as well.
4. Organic perspective
• I do notice some of your lines are getting better. There's still a few lines getting wobbly at the end though. Make sure to take your time to use ghosting method throughly and engage your whole arm from the shoulder. There's only a few cases of divergence so i think you did a pretty good job on this exercise. Remember to give yourself more time to think through the planning phase of your lines (during which you place your various points), and definitely encourage you to do so more when moving onto the 250 box challenge.
