Hello, congratulations on finishing the challenge, I'll be the one doing critique today.

Here are some things to consider going forward in the future:

Hatching: As I'm sure you are aware, hatching is optional but it's still recommended to do them as they are a good way to clarify to the viewer what side is facing them.

Lineweight: It's a little difficult to tell, but I'm not sure you are adding lineweight to the outline of your box. After finishing a box, please draw an extra line over the lines that make up the silhouette of the box, using the ghosting method. Again this is to help clarify the perspective to the viewer.

Extended Lines: Please extend lines in a different colored pen, you not doing so is partially the reason i can't tell whether or not you added lineweight as instructed.

Other than all that, you've done exceeding well at this challenge with no other glaring issues, just keep what I said in mind for future warmups.

Next Steps:

Lesson 2

Thank you for your feedback. I'll keep the things you mentioned in mind and also get myself a different colored pen :D

The recommendation below is an advertisement. Most of the links here are part of Amazon's affiliate program (unless otherwise stated), which helps support this website. It's also more than that - it's a hand-picked recommendation of something I've used myself. If you're interested, here is a full list.
Staedtler Pigment Liners

Staedtler Pigment Liners

These are what I use when doing these exercises. They usually run somewhere in the middle of the price/quality range, and are often sold in sets of different line weights - remember that for the Drawabox lessons, we only really use the 0.5s, so try and find sets that sell only one size.

Alternatively, if at all possible, going to an art supply store and buying the pens in person is often better because they'll generally sell them individually and allow you to test them out before you buy (to weed out any duds).
