Hello and congrats on completing lesson one. I'll be taking a look at your submission today. Starting with your superimposed lines these are looking good. You are keeping a clearly defined starting point and keeping all of your tapering to the opposite end. Your ghosted lines and planes turned out very nice although I am noticing that you have a natural arc to most of your lines that you are probably going to start needing to concsiously compensate for.https://drawabox.com/lesson/1/9/arc Other than that you are doing a great job with the ghosting method to get very confident linework with a good deal of accuracy. Nice work.

Your tables of ellipses is coming along well. You are doing a good job drawing through all of your ellipses although I think you are deforming your ellipses a tad at times. https://drawabox.com/lesson/1/12/deformed This is probably happening because you are bit too concerned with accuracy while drawing through and it's destroying the shape a bit. Try and rely a bit more on the muscle memory you build up while ghosting. Your ellipses in planes do seem to be improved in this regard though which is good to see. Your ellipses in funnels are looking decent but you are having some issues keeping them aligned to the minor axis. https://drawabox.com/lesson/1/13/notaligned Whenever you draw an ellipse you want to consider where the minor axis is and try and align it appropriately. Your ellipses are on the right track though for the most part so keep practicing them during your warmups.

Plotted perspective looks fine nothing to mention here. Your rough perspective box exercise turned out okay. You did a good job extending the lines back on your boxes to check your work. This can really help you notice how wildly off you were with some of your estimations and it's something that you will get better at the more you practice and internalize how to draw in perspective more intuitively. Your lines still have a bit of arc to them and I'm noticing occasional wobble on some shorter lines. So I just want to remind you to always ghost your lines multiple times and then draw from the shoulder with confidence even on short lines.

Your rotated box exercise turned out pretty decently. You did a great job drawing through your boxes and keeping your gaps narrow and consistent and your line quality is very nice. You definitely struggled a bit with the box rotations and in some cases you weren't rotating the boxes at all but were instead drawing them moving back in perspective which is a pretty common student mistake. https://drawabox.com/lesson/1/16/notrotating This is a good exercise to come back to after the 250 box challenge to see how much your spatial thinking ability has improved. Finally your organic box exercise is looking pretty good. Your line quality and confidence is really solid here. Your box constructions seem pretty good for the most part and you will be getting a lot more practice with this during the 250 box challenge.

This was a really solid submission overall. Your line quality and confidence was excellent throughout although I think you need to be a bit more concious of the natural arc you have to your lines. Other than that I think you are understanding most of the concepts these lessons are trying to convey very well. I'm going to mark this as complete and good luck with the 250 box challenge. Keep up the good work!
