A question about organizing the time in the 50% rule

Sorry if the question I'm doing is a little stupid, but it has been wandering my mind through quite some time since I returned doing DrawABox again from lesson 1(Which has been 3 weeks ago).

The thing is I am a little worried of how I am organizing my time in the %50 rule. The way I am organizng my time when drawing for the sake for drawing and drawing with the intention to learn, study, doing courses is by 4 days each.

The thing when I'm drawing whith the intention to learn and improve in the 4 days, I spent 3 days doing a course of a thing that interests me where I want to improve, and the 4th day I spent doing DrawABox (Where I spent time reading the lesson and doing the homework without a deadline).

I really don't know if I am organizing my time well in that part of the %50 rule, It would be helpful if someone can clarify these doubts I have.

If I understand what you wrote correctly, you're spending 1/4 of your studying days on DaB work, and the other 3 on other courses you're interested in.

If your goal is to maintain a balance of the 50% rule and you're worried your current schedule isn't doing that, then what I recommend is just record your time spent doing both kinds of drawing. That's what I use personally, although other people alternate between fun and study days, I haven't tried that myself but it sounds like a good idea.

I think the 50% rule is more of a suggested length of time and not hard set in stone.

If you spend 2-3 hours drawing boxes, then I don't think anyone will punish you for spending 4 hours on the 50% rule.
