hello i want to do drawabox again. i do not mind starting from lesson1 again but can i skip the 250 box challange? i still draw try boxeses and do not waste time doing that again. i want to pay for crtique. thnx in advance
Once you've had your box challenge marked as complete (via official critique if that's what you're aiming for), we do not require students to do it again - that is left up to them.
That said, even in the case that a student wants to start over from a clean slate, even then we don't really want students to redo the box challenge in its entirety - rather, those who'd already completed it even without receiving official critique are generally asked to submit what they already did plus 50 additional boxes after receiving their L1 official critique.
So, needless to say, we're not big on students redoing the box challenge either (outside of keeping up with the exercise itself in their warmups). I would however recommend that you do at least go over the lesson material to refresh your memory on how the exercise works - it was actually updated and modified a couple months ago, so you'll want to be up to date on those changes.
This is a remarkable little pen. Technically speaking, any brush pen of reasonable quality will do, but I'm especially fond of this one. It's incredibly difficult to draw with (especially at first) due to how much your stroke varies based on how much pressure you apply, and how you use it - but at the same time despite this frustration, it's also incredibly fun.
Moreover, due to the challenge of its use, it teaches you a lot about the nuances of one's stroke. These are the kinds of skills that one can carry over to standard felt tip pens, as well as to digital media. Really great for doodling and just enjoying yourself.
