Hello there! First, congrats for getting through the lesson, and the 250 Box Challenge before that. Here is my critique:

ORGANIC ARROWS:

Generally smooth lines, while some have a slight wobble. Also try keep the consistency from larger to smaller, as the arrow gets further away.

ORGANIC FORMS WITH CONTOUR LINES:

Well done with the ellipses, I can see you have given thought to the angle of the ellipses along the axis. Try going slightly slower with a bit more of a controlled motion and remember the ghosting method. The contour ellipses look great, although there is a sight wobble at times.

TEXTURE ANALYSIS:

Your texture exercises look great, one can clearly see the cast shadows. One thing though is that in your analyses, you can clearly see a black rectangle on the left when it should be a smooth transition.

DISSECTIONS:

Again, your textures look okay, and you've done a good job wrapping them around the forms and expressing their silhouettes, though the light-dark transitions are stronger in some than in others. Else I can see you have also broken the silhouette which gives it more texture.

FORM INTERSECTIONS:

Although some of your lines here have a wobble to them, your shapes are solid and your intersections appear to make sense. Also, don’t draw over the same line too many times as it looks scratchy and might get confusing on which was your original stroke.

ORGANIC INTERSECTIONS:

Try not to do scratching lines when outlining the form. Else, great job with these, I have nothing more to say.

Very well done on this exercise. Of course, keep doing Lesson 1 warmups as you are heading through the next lessons.

Next Steps:

Continue onto Lesson 3 - Applying construction to plants.

Orconomics by J. Zachary Pike

Orconomics by J. Zachary Pike

This is one of my favourite books. It's a fantasy-comedy romp, and the world that J. Zachary Pike has created honestly takes my breath away. There are laughs at every turn, but the story is not without its heart wrenching moments - some for which I have yet to fully forgive the author.

If you're at all curious about the kinds of nonsense I read, or just need something new to sink your teeth into, this is one I can highly recommend. On top of that, being self-published by an indie author, it's the kind of thing where your individual support can go a long way.

P.S: The audiobook, with narration from Doug Tisdale, is especially good, and elevates the story in ways I can't rightly describe.
