Hey there!

I'll jump right in to the critique --

Superimposed lines -- right off the bat, well done with the improvement as you went through the exercise! Your lines started off wobbly, but I can see your confidence grew as you kept practicing. Great job!

Ghosted lines and planes -- there's the tiniest bit of wobble, but overall you understand the concepts well.

Ellipses - When it comes to ellipses, you're doing very well on drawing through them and keeping them within their boundaries, but they are quite a bit bumpy and deformed. You seem to have prioritized accuracy over smoothness. Overall, you've done well for all the exercises - tables, ellipses in planes and funnels - but for the future, keep in mind that a smooth ellipse is your top priority. Additionally, your ellipses in funnels become slightly misaligned, but most of them are quite good.

Boxes - Your line quality falls slightly at the start of Rough perspective, but I can see you've plotted your points for your lines and as you progressed you definitely showed a lot of improvement. Well done with that too! The rotated boxes exercise you've done overall well, the corner boxes don't quite rotate properly but they're the hardest ones to get right. The only thing I would really note is that it isn't necessary to go over your lines more than once, as that can end up harming you versus hurting you where if you don't nail it completely it draws attention to potential mistakes. But aside from that, great job here too. And finally, your organic perspective is looking great too.

Overall, great job with the exercises! I'll be looking forward to seeing your 250 boxes.

Thanks so much Tora! I'm halfway through 250 boxes already, and I feel like I'm greatly improving there. Definitely have an issue with going over my lines if I don't think they look right, it's something I'm trying to avoid by warming up first before starting on the actual lessons.

Again, thanks heaps. Appreciate you taking the time to critique my work, I'll definitely take everything you've said on board :)

Like the Staedtlers, these also come in a set of multiple weights - the ones we use are F. One useful thing in these sets however (if you can't find the pens individually) is that some of the sets come with a brush pen (the B size). These can be helpful in filling out big black areas.

Still, I'd recommend buying these in person if you can, at a proper art supply store. They'll generally let you buy them individually, and also test them out beforehand to weed out any duds.
