Lesson 1: Lines, Ellipses and Boxes

Happy to hear any feedback.
Great job. You definitely improved by the time you got to the boxes.
Lines became more straighter, and the whole artwork got also way clearer!
I think your ellipses will need some extra attention in the future - I think by now, you can get them tighter the next time you need an ellipse. Remember to ghost them out and imagine the ellipse you want. You can draw the ellipses just the way you want, so leave nothing to chance!
The rotation boxes exercise is great, and the shading you did on the plotted perspective, I love it!
Next Steps:
Good job!
Keep on ghosting and visualizing your lines.
Please start with 250 boxes!
Like the Staedtlers, these also come in a set of multiple weights - the ones we use are F. One useful thing in these sets however (if you can't find the pens individually) is that some of the sets come with a brush pen (the B size). These can be helpful in filling out big black areas.
Still, I'd recommend buying these in person if you can, at a proper art supply store. They'll generally let you buy them individually, and also test them out beforehand to weed out any duds.
