Hello, nice to meet you all! This are my homework outputs for Lesson 1. I tried to take presentable pictures so it won't be too hard for the critic(s) to point out possible improvements.

I struggled so hard with the rotating boxes and organic perspective. Looking forward to all the insights and corrections you can give, thank you! :D

Hi Ji,

I'll be doing a review of your homework today.

Lines look confident and smooth.

Ellipses are looking good as well.

I would say all your exercises were very well done.

I think the Organic Perspective and Rotating Boxes were done well, considering this is your lesson 1 exercises.

A few points to keep in mind:

  1. Always ghost your lines. This will be more and more important going into the next challenge.

  2. Remember to draw from your shoulder and loosen up to allow for straight, confident lines. It looks like you're doing a good job of this already.

Great work!

Next Steps:

250 Box Challenge!

Cottonwood Arts Sketchbooks

These are my favourite sketchbooks, hands down. Move aside Moleskine, you overpriced gimmick. These sketchbooks are made by entertainment industry professionals down in Los Angeles, with concept artists in mind. They have a wide variety of sketchbooks, such as toned sketchbooks that let you work both towards light and towards dark values, as well as books where every second sheet is a semitransparent vellum.
