Hey guys,

after one month and about two weeks ,I finally made it! I finished the 250 Box Challenge :)

So yeah, it was quite difficult for me at first and even later on now and then as you can probably see haha (my lines were even later on sometimes off as I had the wrong thought or image of the box in my head lol), but as I reflect now on my first boxes and my last ones I feel that, even though they're also not perfect, I learned a lot from this challenge which makes me really happy and proud to be honest. I now get they feeling of how to rotate boxes (and later on f.e. objects if you put them inside), how they sit in space and how they converge to a specific vanishing point. But there's a lot more that I've learned, as I would guess that my technical skills also got a bit better, I mean my lines are still not perfect but compared to my first boxes I would say that they got better. So yeah, any feedback is totally appreciated and welcome as I wanna get sure I'm ready for lesson 2 :)

Thanks for checking out my boxes and reading my long comment to it haha!

Have a nice weekend and happy improving/ learning.

(P.S: I now even see my old mistakes were I thought my lines converged correctly (and made an "okay" next to it) even though they've not so yeah...Guess I really learned a lot through this challenge)

Ellipse Master Template

Ellipse Master Template

This recommendation is really just for those of you who've reached lesson 6 and onwards.

I haven't found the actual brand you buy to matter much, so you may want to shop around. This one is a "master" template, which will give you a broad range of ellipse degrees and sizes (this one ranges between 0.25 inches and 1.5 inches), and is a good place to start. You may end up finding that this range limits the kinds of ellipses you draw, forcing you to work within those bounds, but it may still be worth it as full sets of ellipse guides can run you quite a bit more, simply due to the sizes and degrees that need to be covered.

No matter which brand of ellipse guide you decide to pick up, make sure they have little markings for the minor axes.
