Hello and congrats on completing lesson one. I'll be taking a look at your submission today. Your superimposed lines are off to a fine start. You are doing well with keeping a clearly defined starting point with all of your tapering happening on the opposite end and I'm already seeing more control by the second page. Your ghosted lines and planes are looking very good. You are doing a great job using the ghosting method to get confident line work with a decent deal of accuracy that will get better with practice. Nice work.

Your table of ellipses are coming along well. You are doing great with drawing through your ellipses and going for a smooth ellipse shape over accuracy. This is carried over nicely into your ellipses in planes. Of course there is plenty of work to be done still in terms of accuracy but that is the long term goal. For now these are a great start and on the right track. Your ellipses in funnels are having some issues with tilting off the minor axis that you should be aware of. https://drawabox.com/lesson/1/13/notaligned Your ellipses off to a really great start but due to the difficulty of drawing ellipses there's still plenty of room for improvement so keep practicing these during your warmups.

Plotted perspective looks great nothing to mention here. Your rough perspective boxes are looking decent. Your linework here has a bit of wobble to it which is pretty common for this exercise. This is likely happening because you are thinking through spatial problems while drawing and are either forgetting to ghost as much or you are using your wrist to draw these shorter lines. So this is just a reminder to always ghost your lines and to draw from your shoulder with confidence even on short lines. You did a good job extending the lines back on your boxes to check your work. As you can see some of your perspective estimations were a bit but that is something that will become more intuitive with practice.

Your rotated box exercise turned out pretty well. Your linework is nice and confident for the most part and you did a good job drawing through your boxes and keeping your gaps narrow and consistent. You didn't quite nail your rotations in a lot of cases and in some cases you were running into the pretty common student issues of not rotating your boxes at all like on the top section. https://drawabox.com/lesson/1/16/notrotating This is a good exercise to come back to after a few lessons to see how much your spatial thinking ability has improved. Your organic perspective exercise is looking pretty good . You are keeping up with the ghosting method and your linework is looking nice and confident and much improved over your rough perspective boxes which is great. Your box constructions are actually pretty decent for the most part too and you look well prepared for the 250 box challenge.

This was a really good submission overall that showed a good amount of growth. I think you are understanding most of the concepts these lessons are trying to convey very well. I'm going to mark this as complete and good luck with the 250 box challenge!
