I don't really see any mistakes to be honest. Your lines are nice and confident, no fraying on both ends, no wobble, no arching, only nitpick I can find is that your ghosted lines sheet looks like it has room for some more. Ellipses are confident and drawn through. Boxes are good too, only problem I can see is that your boxes seem inconsistent in size in the rotated boxes excersise, but that too is a nitpick.

Next Steps:

You are good to go. You can move on to the 250 boxes challenge.

hello friend i am now gonna review your lesson 1 homework so here are my critiques for each exercise

1.Sumper Imposed Lines and ghosted lines exercise

no wobbling lines only lines fraying at the far end allowed and to give you understanding here is the difference

(wobbling lines) https://d15v304a6xpq4b.cloudfront.net/lesson_images/5bcda336.jpg and (fraying at the far end) https://d15v304a6xpq4b.cloudfront.net/lesson_images/1585f266.jpg so as far as i can see one of your lines is wobbling on page one,you should take a look of that and also try to have confidence in short distance lines before moving on to long distance lines

2.Ghosted Planes exercise

lines on each planes look clean while the major and minor axis dont seem connected to vanishing points you will have understanding about it later on

3.Tables of ellipses

you have managed to keep your ellipses close and tight together,in this exercise just prioritize confident and smooth ellipses you will be able to make round looking ellipses as you manage to draw it a lot of times

4.Ellipses in planes exercise

just like table of ellipses exercise u prioritize confident and smoothness over accuracy hitting each corner of the planes

5.Funnels exercise

On funnels, the minor axis (the line in the middle) should cut ellipses in 2 symetrical halves.

6.Plotted perspective

i reccomed to use a pen which is not dark enough so the vanishing points will still be visible enough to look at

also look at this (https://imgur.com/a/uMCn9Fy)you don't darken the lines if you make a mistake just leave it there as it is because you only darken a box if you wanna put shadow or texture of details on a box, dont' darken the lines if you make a mistake drawing lines of a box

 7.rough perspective

just wanna point out the are wobbly lines and dont darken the lines of a box if you wanna corect it

8.Rotated boxes

On rotated boxes, corners between boxes must be kept close.

9.Organic perspective

try to exaggerate the size of the boxes to become really big as it's getting closer to the viewer's eyes that's how u make illusion to the viewer's eyes like the boxes really close from the tiny boxes to gigantic size

Next Steps:

you can move on to 250 boxes challange

Below this point is mostly ads. Indie projects, and tool/course recommendations from us.
This section is reserved for low-cost advertising space for art related indie projects.
With how saturated the market is, it is tough for such projects to get eyes on their work.
By providing this section, we hope to help with that.

Rapid Viz

Rapid Viz

Rapid Viz is a book after mine own heart, and exists very much in the same spirit of the concepts that inspired Drawabox. It's all about getting your ideas down on the page, doing so quickly and clearly, so as to communicate them to others. These skills are not only critical in design, but also in the myriad of technical and STEM fields that can really benefit from having someone who can facilitate getting one person's idea across to another.

Where Drawabox focuses on developing underlying spatial thinking skills to help facilitate that kind of communication, Rapid Viz's quick and dirty approach can help students loosen up and really move past the irrelevant matters of being "perfect" or "correct", and focus instead on getting your ideas from your brain, onto the page, and into someone else's brain as efficiently as possible.
