For the first 50, your lines are very clean. While there are a few instances of arcing, like box 2 and box 39, they are not very dramatic. Your convergences also show good accuracy, though I do see the odd line veering off in the wrong direction like box 15's red line and box 39. I also noticed lines pair off and converge towards two vanishing points, like box 26's purple line and box 48's red lines.

For the next 50, as before, your lines are very clean, with only a few minor instances of arcing like box 60 and box 90. Your convergences show improvement, with fewer errant lines, though I did see a few more instances of lines pairing off like box 73 and box 99.

For the last 150, your lines remain clean throughout the rest of the challenge. I only noticed a few traces of arcing, which were very slight. Your convergences continue to improve, as well, with very few errant lines. However, I saw a few more instances of lines pairing off, like box 111, box 167, and box 228. In these boxes, the inner lines (green and orange in this diagram) diverge instead of converging at the vanishing point. Keeping in mind the angles of neighboring lines can help when planning the box's construction. That said, box 205 came out very well.

As an aside, box 32, box 69, box 122, and 168 are missing some line extensions. It's not a major issue since it didn't happen often, but I want to point it out for future reference.

All said, I'm going to mark this challenge as complete.

Next Steps:

Continue on to Lesson 2, and add rotated boxes with line extensions in the style of the last 150 to your warm-up exercise pool.

This critique marks this lesson as complete.

Like the Staedtlers, these also come in a set of multiple weights - the ones we use are F. One useful thing in these sets however (if you can't find the pens individually) is that some of the sets come with a brush pen (the B size). These can be helpful in filling out big black areas.

Still, I'd recommend buying these in person if you can, at a proper art supply store. They'll generally let you buy them individually, and also test them out beforehand to weed out any duds.
