Lesson 1: Lines, Ellipses and Boxes

After being a bit on the fence about official critique or not. I decided to go for it! I published my lesson 1 for unofficial critique, so this post will just be posted with the same description;
Hi all! Here is my completion of lesson 1.
Somewhere in the middle of the lesson my fineliner started to act inconsistent (I think I applied too much pressure on the pen at the beginning of the lesson.) This has resulted in a couple of the pages being done with a more awkward tripod grip as I had to hold the fineliner more or less vertical to the paper to be able to apply a consistent flow of ink for my lines. I bought a new fineliner as soon as I had the opportunity. As said, this was only the case for a couple of the pages.
I do not have any professional background when it comes to drawing, I used to love to draw as a kid and as a grown up I enjoy to just drift off into the unconsciousness with mindlessly sketching whenever the opportunity offers itself. Only in the last year I have realized that I can pursue drawing with more structured goals to be able to change mindless sketching to a very fun hobby. Hence; my first of several submissions to Draw A Box.
While on the fence about official critique I started slighty on the 250 box challenge, but I have not touched lesson 2 yet. If my interpretation and replies from Discord is correct you may start the 250 box challenge, but not any new lesson while awaiting official critique for the current published lesson? I am a bit confused about this as I completely understand that you are not allowed to start on lesson 2 before receiving official critique for lesson 1, but the challenges and drills I have interpreted as more of a grey area as these are stated to fit with the lessons at various times.
