I'm currently quarantining for 21 days as required be=y Going Kong authorities. I did not have a pen or paper but have a tablet Chromebook with a pen. Did my best to stay true to the intent of the exercise. I did not see my mistakes. Thanks for comments

Hello, I hope you're doing well~

Let's be brief :)

The most important thing to highlight here is your line confidence. In DaB you should prioritize confidence over accuracy, a smooth and confident line is better than a wobbly line. The accuracy will increase as you practice :)

LINES

In the super imposed lines you can try to practice curvy lines, like C or S curves. Both, planes and ghosted lines, are quite wobbly I've never worked with a tablet so I'm not sure how much this can affect your performance. In the ghosted lines you missed the second dot in some of them, the accuracy will improve as you keep practicing.

ELLIPSES

The ellipses are also quite wobbly, in the table with ellipses you tried to keep them snuggling withing each other. Most of the ellipses in the planes are touching the four sides of the planes, but they're wobbly. Not all the ellipses in the funnels are being cut in two halves but your ellipses are much less wobbly than the previous ones, that's nice!

As with all other lines in the lesson accuracy comes later, it doesn't matter if the ellipse don't fit in the given space when they have been drawn with confidence.

BOXES

In the rotated boxes I think your missing some boxes (the outer ones in the edges?). Look again at the example given by Uncomfortable (here), you'll notice that it must be five boxes and you have less, remember to follow the instructions as they are and look at the examples as much as you can. Btw in this exercise your lines are better that in other exercises.

As I mentioned above work on your confidence and don't be afraid of mistakes because all of us are here to learn not to draw pretty things ;)

If you have questions or you think I'm not being clear feel free to ask.

Next Steps:

Keep drawing and doing your warm up exercises. Move to the next challenge.

Thanks for the time and detailed review. Uncomfortable wants us to really do this on pen and paper, so I will submit to his good advice and redo the work. It is ultimately all for my benefit so I am looking forward to it.

A lot of my students use these. The last time I used them was when I was in high school, and at the time I felt that they dried out pretty quickly, though I may have simply been mishandling them. As with all pens, make sure you're capping them when they're not in use, and try not to apply too much pressure. You really only need to be touching the page, not mashing your pen into it.

In terms of line weight, the sizes are pretty weird. 08 corresponds to 0.5mm, which is what I recommend for the drawabox lessons, whereas 05 corresponds to 0.45mm, which is pretty close and can also be used.
