Hi, congrats on completing the lesson. I'll be looking over your submission. Starting with your superimposed lines these are coming along pretty well. I'm already seeing improvement by the second page of these. So one piece of advice I have for you here is to make sure you keep your starting point as neat as possible on these. The one thing you have the most control over while doing this exercise is really taking your time and making sure you pen is put at the exact same starting point each time. On some of these it feels a bit rushed in that you got it "close" to the starting point and then draw thus making your line thicker than it needed to be on both ends. That thickness and tapering are going to be inevitable on the one end but we can do the best we can to keep our starting point as neat as possible. Moving onto your ghosted lines and planes I'm seeing a bit of wobble and arcing on these. Not a ton but enough to where you might be thinking a little too much while drawing your lines. The whole goal of this exercise is to break the drawing process down into several steps. The first is that you think about how you want your line to look and you set down points on the page. The second is that you ghost that line multiple times memorizing the motion in your head and then finally you execute the line without thinking and hesistation. This is what ultimately leads to a smooth confident line is that you do all of the thinking beforehand with the points and ghosting and the execution stage is almost automatic. Now your lines aren't going to be super accurate doing this at first but it will get you a confident line and your accuracy will grow more and more with practice. That said I did see improvement by the second page of ghosted planes but you still have plenty of room to grow here.

Your table of ellipses were a bit of a struggle as you mentioned. Don't get discouraged since ellipses are really the hardest thing to draw and take lots of practice to get good at. I noticed on the first page that you didn't draw through all of your ellipses but luckily that was taken care of as you worked through these pages. I just want to remind you that EVERY single ellipse you draw during these lessons should be drawn through. You really want to ghost these ellipses multiple times before committing to your lines the same way you would as straight lines. I am also noticing a tendency of you not drawing through your ellipse if you feel that you "got it right" the first time and this is a mistake. Always draw through your ellipses without question. You really want to get this motion down in your brain. Looking at your ellipses in planes I'm noticing the same issues. Not drawing through if you felt like you got it right and you also might be a little too worried about accuracy and it's really deforming some of your ellipse shapes. Please check the lesson notes here https://drawabox.com/lesson/1/12/deformed Your ellipses in funnels page is showing some improvement on your ellipses overall but all of the same issues I mentioned are still present. This is a decent start but there is lots of room for improvement here so keep up with your practice on these.

Plotted perspective looks good nothing to mention here. Your rough perspective exercises are looking pretty decent. You are doing a great job extending your lines back on your boxes to check your work here. As you can see some of your estimation were quite off but that will get a lot better with practice. I do want to talk about your line quality a little bit here. I'm noticing a bit of wobble still with your lines and I just want to remind you that even for short lines like these you still want to ghost them multiple time and draw them with your shoulder. Wobbly lines typically come from a lack of ghosting and reverting to drawing with the wrist.

Your rotated box exercise was a good attempt. You did a good job drawing through your boxes here and keeping your gaps narrow consistent. You did run into a pretty common mistake though. You aren't really rotating your boxes so much as just moving them back in perspective. Please check the lesson notes here. https://drawabox.com/lesson/1/16/notrotating Another thing that might help you with an exercise like this and for future homework is to simply draw a little bigger. Drawing bigger really help when you have to think through spatial problems like the ones you faced here. Your organic box exercise turned out pretty well. I think your line quality is showing definite improvement as you worked through these exercises so keep it up with the ghosting and drawing from the shoulder. Now you are struggling quite a bit with box convergences but that is pretty normal and something you will get a lot practice with during the 250 box challenge.

This was a good submission overall. You did a good job of following the instructions and showed some growth as you worked throught these exercises. Your ellipses are the weak point here so keep up with practicing them during your warmups and make sure you are always ghosting your lines and drawing from the shoulder. I'm going to mark this lesson as complete and good luck with the 250 box challenge.
