Well i finally got a pen! First time i used it didnt feel as unfamiliar as i expected, i got accustomed to it quite quickly actually, did a few exercises to warm up with it.

I didn't do the arrows in pen however, something i noticed, though i did do arrows as practice with the pen, if i need to ill post those.

Plants proved to not be quite as challenging or time consuming as dissections though i still have some trouble with leaves as i found out by the foreshortened views or how wide i really make them. Though since i liked the plants a lot more i think i'll keep working on that in some of my free time, at least a little.

Thats about it for this time o>

Cottonwood Arts Sketchbooks

These are my favourite sketchbooks, hands down. Move aside Moleskine, you overpriced gimmick. These sketchbooks are made by entertainment industry professionals down in Los Angeles, with concept artists in mind. They have a wide variety of sketchbooks, such as toned sketchbooks that let you work both towards light and towards dark values, as well as books where every second sheet is a semitransparent vellum.
