This challenge was a nightmare :) it took me about 3 months of on and off work, but now I'm finally done.

To be honest I don't really see much improvement in my work - after the first few bad pages my boxes sort of reached a peak and haven't gotten much better since. I'd say my best work was about when I hit the 100 mark, but towards the end the boxes have sort of worsened (I might have been rushing a bit, but I was just so done with this challenge).

The biggest problem for me was re-tracing the lines to make them thicker, I just couldn't get them to line up properly in most cases. But please let me know what you think, any feedback is much appreciated!

I'm just glad this is over, I really hope it's going to be worth it in the long run, because at the moment I kind of regret doing it.

It's also more than that - it's a hand-picked recommendation of something I've used myself. If you're interested, here is a full list.

These are what I use when doing these exercises. They usually run somewhere in the middle of the price/quality range, and are often sold in sets of different line weights - remember that for the Drawabox lessons, we only really use the 0.5s, so try and find sets that sell only one size.

Alternatively, if at all possible, going to an art supply store and buying the pens in person is often better because they'll generally sell them individually and allow you to test them out before you buy (to weed out any duds).
