hello, I'm Lia and I'm here to do your critic of your first lesson ( it's also my first real critic in this site so excuse me of my own noob behaviour!)

so let's start with your lines, I notice a bit of fraying at one of the ends in your very first page on your superimposed lines, but I can tell they are steady and confident and it fades away by page 2.

as far as your ghosted lines are concerned I can see that they are short and are done well with little wobbling and no arching!

your ghosted planes are varied in terms of angle and are done with steady lines so good job on that as well!

onto the ellipses:

your table of ellipses seems fine! there's little wobble and no overlap of the ellipses and they are snuggly pressed against each other, with little to no gaps.

I have similar feelings about the ellipses in planes, confident lines and the Ellipses are clearly drawn 2-3 times and are done in varied angles that fill up the page.

on the funnels the I can see 2 symmetrical halves on the middle and the ellipses are drawn close together to fill in the funnels, so you completed the goal of the Ellipses, so now onto the boxes.

The boxes:

I noticed you actually posted the photo of the rotated boxes twice, one having hatched shading, so I'm assuming you shaded it after taking one picture of it pre hatching, so I'm going to review that one:

It's rather clear you've rotated the boxes well and the faces are very well defined and you have a good grasp of how the boxes are meant to rotate in a 3D plane in order to achieve the " globe" finished result.

now onto plotted perspective: I can see you had a good grasp of the exercise, as the lines/ boxes weren't distorted and I can see a clear vanishing point that they are drawn towards. Good job!

on the rough perspective I can see that you tend to skew quite heavily towards the vanishing point towards your second page when there's no need for it. however your examples of your first page are a bit better, so I don't feel inclined to ask you to repeat it ( I too struggled with rough perspective and it's hard not to go towards it even if I see you can manage It!)

so now for the organic perspective, I see you ghosted your lines quite nicely and I like that you seem to have a very good grasp of perspective and I don't see anything too wrong with it ( boxes closer to us are bigger vs smaller ones) so you achieved the basics of the exercise!

so good job, I'll be marking your lesson as completed
