Hi Juice,

I've checked your submission,

Gonna start out by giving you an advice. Wait for a review before moving on to another lesson/challenge. What makes Draw a Box good it's the fact that you have other people to review your work and give you feedback, so you don't carry your mistakes as you move foward.

Now, on to the actual review:

It seems like you got the idea of the challenge, your boxes got better as you progressed. However, there is an area on which you could improve.

Your line quality. Now, I've talked about this in the critique I just did tou your lesson 1. But, because you move from lesson 1 on to this challenge without waiting for a review, you kinda dragged that mistake on to your boxes. However, your lines do get better in this challenge, but they are lacking a little more confident, so ghost your lines, repeat them and make one confident stroke.

I know it's hard to wait for a review for a long time, but you have to understand that the lesson it's just half of what you can learn, the other half comes from the feedback another person gives you. So be paitient

I'm gonna mark this lesson as completed! Keep it up.

Next Steps:

Move on to lesson 2!

This community member feels the lesson should be marked as complete. In order for the student to receive their completion badge, this critique will need 2 agreements from other members of the community.

Yeah I have noticed that my line quality can vary quite a bit depending on the day, sometimes feeling worse for stretches of days. I'll keep ghosting in mind more. Thanks for the feedback!

Pentel Pocket Brush Pen

Pentel Pocket Brush Pen

This is a remarkable little pen. Technically speaking, any brush pen of reasonable quality will do, but I'm especially fond of this one. It's incredibly difficult to draw with (especially at first) due to how much your stroke varies based on how much pressure you apply, and how you use it - but at the same time despite this frustration, it's also incredibly fun.

Moreover, due to the challenge of its use, it teaches you a lot about the nuances of one's stroke. These are the kinds of skills that one can carry over to standard felt tip pens, as well as to digital media. Really great for doodling and just enjoying yourself.
