struggled a lot with rotated boxes and the result is far from pretty but I think I learned a lot!! I already feel like I've learned a lot from these exercises and the first lesson.

Hello! so to start of, you did just fine on the ghosted line. the only mistake you did is that, you tried to impose another line or lets say you tried to repeat to to correct. I strongly encourage you not to do that. making mistakes are okay and we learn from them so dont do it next time. about the super imposed line... i think you tried so hard to draw over that initial line that was so long. I recommend that you should do more 5 to 7 inch only because that would be more helpful for your ghosting. trying to superimpose lines that are too long is not really the point of this. though I see you did well on drawing the ghosted planes but I see you had a hard time fitting the ellipse into it but its okay since we're not aiming to do it perfectly. also you're missing one more page of ghosted planes and ellipse in planes. I recommend that you do that one more page of that.

now on the ellipses on funnel, im not quite sure if you really get the point of it or you're just having a hard time drawing ellipse that has wider degree (please let me know in your reply) but I think I'll mark that as done since I also struggled with that in the past.

so on the rough perspective, I can see a lot missed the vanishing point but I can also tell that you understand it so you just need to practice it (which you will in the 250 box challenge) so no need to repeat it, that's done.

so on your rotated boxes... i saw some lines which you tried to correct it and you drew another line to make it right. like I told you it was no need for that. you may missed one but we know if you really get it or not. your rotated boxes looks unorganized but I can see you're rotated some boxes. I can also see that you struggled in the far end which you failed to convey that that box is rotating. it looks like its the same as the one before it. so here the tip. if its from the top then as you reach the end, the top plane of the box should not be visible or just slightly visible. look at the example on this website and observe it until you eventually get it. and if its from the bottom, the bottom plane should be slightly visible or ot visible at all. I hope you get what I mean.

so practice it yourself but dont redo this rotated box homework. no need for that. just practice it for yourself but DONT grind it.

so, moving on to the last, the organic perspective. the first page of that specific exercise doesn't seems to be right. it looks to me like you're fully getting the it. but on the 2nd page, I can see you're slowly getting the hang of it. no, actually, you got it. Good job!

ill mark that as done. you just missed 1 more page of ghosted planes and draw an ellipse inside of it after its done

Next Steps:

1 page of ghosted planes along with the ellipses on the

I've done all the exercises I was just having trouble uploading them all on imgur, it kept telling me the upload failed so I reuploaded but I must've missed a couple. I got the point of the ellipses in funnels in my brain but it wasn't really translating to paper well! i will do some warm ups with funnels and ellipses in the future. the rotated boxes really left me confused but I will read over and include it in my warm ups!

the missing page of ghosted planes and ellipses in planes is added now!

This is another one of those things that aren't sold through Amazon, so I don't get a commission on it - but it's just too good to leave out. PureRef is a fantastic piece of software that is both Windows and Mac compatible. It's used for collecting reference and compiling them into a moodboard. You can move them around freely, have them automatically arranged, zoom in/out and even scale/flip/rotate images as you please. If needed, you can also add little text notes.

When starting on a project, I'll often open it up and start dragging reference images off the internet onto the board. When I'm done, I'll save out a '.pur' file, which embeds all the images. They can get pretty big, but are way more convenient than hauling around folders full of separate images.

Did I mention you can get it for free? The developer allows you to pay whatever amount you want for it. They recommend $5, but they'll allow you to take it for nothing. Really though, with software this versatile and polished, you really should throw them a few bucks if you pick it up. It's more than worth it.
