I was really fascinated by this prompt.

Living in a country like Venezuela has made me see homemade artifacts made of unimaginable things, so it didn't take me long to make this.

I can see that my skills to create have improved since I started participating in the Promptathon.

It's great that they came up with this.

Agreed! This is a great opportunity to work on those creative skills. I'm really enjoying the Promptathon too, especially the urgency it provides to take my ideas to some "acceptable" level of finish within a single day.

Nice use of that exhaust pipe :)

I really hope there will be more events like this in the future.

And you're right, that small time lapse makes us strive to be effective as well.

I see you have come up with some great ideas too o:

Like the Staedtlers, these also come in a set of multiple weights - the ones we use are F. One useful thing in these sets however (if you can't find the pens individually) is that some of the sets come with a brush pen (the B size). These can be helpful in filling out big black areas.

Still, I'd recommend buying these in person if you can, at a proper art supply store. They'll generally let you buy them individually, and also test them out beforehand to weed out any duds.
