Anxious about submitting , thanks for any feedback
Hey there!
First off, I wanna say congrats on finishing the lesson! Drawabox can be pretty rigoruous but you persevered and made your first milestone.
Now to the critique: Overall you did great. I can see you used your arm and made confident strokes on the assignments. The 2nd page of the planes look a little wobbly though, so be careful not to rush to finish a page (even though it's tempting). Your ellipses look good, nothing much to say there. You're rotated boxes looks a little rough on the left side, but don't worry! It's an extremely hard excercise. Try doing it again as a warmup later as you progress. Some of your boxes diverge in the last excercise, but you'll get plenty of practice during the 250 box challenge.
And with that I'd say you're ready to move on. Be sure to pace yourself in the 250 box challenge and take breaks. Remember the 50 percent rule from Lesson 0!
Next Steps:
Complete the 250 Box Challenge before moving on to Lesson 2
Like the Staedtlers, these also come in a set of multiple weights - the ones we use are F. One useful thing in these sets however (if you can't find the pens individually) is that some of the sets come with a brush pen (the B size). These can be helpful in filling out big black areas.
Still, I'd recommend buying these in person if you can, at a proper art supply store. They'll generally let you buy them individually, and also test them out beforehand to weed out any duds.
