New to rotated boxes and i have this problem with working at the far back. Got any tips and critiques?
My #1 tip would be to complete the exercise. Really, that’s all that’s required of you- not to succeed, but to attempt it. Be careful about your linework, also- there’s a lot of chicken scratching here. The boxes themselves look good, by the way, so don’t stress.
Some of you may remember James Gurney's breathtaking work in the Dinotopia series. This is easily my favourite book on the topic of colour and light, and comes highly recommended by any artist worth their salt. While it speaks from the perspective of a traditional painter, the information in this book is invaluable for work in any medium.
