Hello! Overall you've done a good attempt, though there are some problems you had through it:

-Starting with the cylinders section, you start off with some line quality problems; repeating lines and some owbbly lines, but they get fixed as you go through the challenge, good job! On this section you're mainly doing a good job handling the part that the ellipses get wider degrees as they get farther away from us, and the cylinders don't diverge.

But the thing I wanted to talk about is that the shift of degrees between the closest ellipse to us and the farther one depends on the degree of foreshortening. So if the cylinder tapers a lot you're gonna see the ellipse getting much wider degrees than if the foreshortening is pretty mild. Keep that in mind in future attempts!

On the boxes section you've had some problems throughout it on perspective, but overall the perspective on the boxes is getting better through the set, good job! The main problem is that you aren't applying the line extensions completely. You need to extend, 4 lines for each 3 sets of lines, so 12 in total, added to 2 lines of the side of the ellipses and 2 lines for the minor axis correction of the ellipses, so 16 lines in total. Keep this in mind while doing these exercises! The whole point of this exercise is to autocorrect yourself so you train yourself to draw squares on perspective with eyeballing, so pay special attention to drawing the corrections correctly.

There are some cases such as the 248 in which having drawn the extensions would have told you what you were doing wrong and how you could have corrected it in the next boxes, so keep that in mind, and try to extend your lines fully like I did in that example so you get the most out of them! Don't worry about them colliding with other boxes.

That said you've done a pretty good attempt through this hellish challenge so I'll mark this as complete! Feel free to answer me with a page of those in your warmups if you want a second check-up or you need further help on some issues you might come up with. Good luck on lesson 6 the next lesson!

hello there, thank you very much for taking your time to critique my work. I cant thank enough for this, i'll be uploading the warmup cylinders in discord server instead as i believe that way will be much efficient, and yes they will be drawn be keeping your suggestions and advice in mind. Thank you again, it's very much appreciated.

Oh just noticed I wrote cylinder challenge on the next steps part! Just in case you got confused next step is lesson 6, no more cylinders! Though of course like you said it's a good idea to keep practicing them on warmups. No worries and good luck on lesson 6!

Pentel Pocket Brush Pen

Pentel Pocket Brush Pen

This is a remarkable little pen. Technically speaking, any brush pen of reasonable quality will do, but I'm especially fond of this one. It's incredibly difficult to draw with (especially at first) due to how much your stroke varies based on how much pressure you apply, and how you use it - but at the same time despite this frustration, it's also incredibly fun.

Moreover, due to the challenge of its use, it teaches you a lot about the nuances of one's stroke. These are the kinds of skills that one can carry over to standard felt tip pens, as well as to digital media. Really great for doodling and just enjoying yourself.
