I can finally say I have completed the first gauntlet! Honestly did not expect this to take as long as it did, but I'm glad I did it, as I feel like I have learned alot about getting a box down properly (such as keeping in mind of all the other parallel lines when drawing through the boxes), which I wouldn't have found out about had I decided to skip the challenge. While things were a little clumsy early on, I believe my convergences have become more consistent and closer overall towards the end of the challenge, however any advice going foward would be helpful!

p.s, I extended my lines using both red and blue pens to make the convergence of each box more clear.

Hi Rejigee,

After checking this Submit i can say you improved your boxes.

1) Your are keeping your extended lines converging,

2) you are extending in a correct direction,

3) You are doing shallow and deep foreshortening

There is few examples where you missed extending lines or extend in a wrong way, but you got a point of this challenge

I will mark this challenge as complete

Next Steps:

Go for Lesson 2

Wow, look great. You seem like have "ruler" on your hands :bravo

Anw, i think you should save more spaces. For example in first page. you can draw two more.

Like the Staedtlers, these also come in a set of multiple weights - the ones we use are F. One useful thing in these sets however (if you can't find the pens individually) is that some of the sets come with a brush pen (the B size). These can be helpful in filling out big black areas.

Still, I'd recommend buying these in person if you can, at a proper art supply store. They'll generally let you buy them individually, and also test them out beforehand to weed out any duds.
