Hi,

So these pieces of artwork are from my personal sketchpad and I'm doing them as the main component of my 100 days challenge. I am to draw my cat for 100 days, and essentially the exercise is designed to help me to commit myself to drawing for that amount of time. I started a couple of days ago and I do have more drawings but not all I will post. I will start posting all of them, though.

These are personal sketches of mines but you are free to critique them if you wish. I aim to improve myself little by little.

I totally support you doing this challenge dude! It sounds like it's gonna be a bit hard but totally worth it in the end. One thing I do recomend to help out with cat anatomy is by studying the skeleton and the muscle anatomy, it totally helps out with mapping where everything is and how everything functions as well. Hope this helps dude.

Many thanks! I draw a cat everyday. Even if I don't post I have to do it. It's so worth it and it really gets me geared up to draw.

Also would it be too much to ask of you to take a look at my lesson 1?

The Science of Deciding What You Should Draw

The Science of Deciding What You Should Draw

Right from when students hit the 50% rule early on in Lesson 0, they ask the same question - "What am I supposed to draw?"

It's not magic. We're made to think that when someone just whips off interesting things to draw, that they're gifted in a way that we are not. The problem isn't that we don't have ideas - it's that the ideas we have are so vague, they feel like nothing at all. In this course, we're going to look at how we can explore, pursue, and develop those fuzzy notions into something more concrete.
