Hi! Thanks a ton for reviewing my homework! I really appreciate it! :D

Also I definitely agree, now that I looked back at my ellipses they definitely weren't that great. This time, now that I redid my homework, I tried my best to prioritize confidence over accuracy, and hopefully that shows in my results as well. I'm not sure if it does, though, as I'm a beginner and I can't really see those important nuances yet. :) But I think the exercises turned better than last time, at least! But I would really appreciate if you looked into my new versions of the homework you assigned me, the link's here: https://imgur.com/a/05TKg5P

Thanks in advance! And thank you for your time! I really appreciate your feedback and will take it close to heart and mind when drawing in the future! :D

Hi! I checked your additional homework, and while I'd say there's still a certain degree of uncertainty in you mark making, I definitely see some improvement, more so in the planes than in the funnels, most likely because the planes give you more possibilities to get loose with your ellipse compared to the quite rigid boundary of the funnels, where you have to both draw inside and keep the correct orientation with respect to the funnel's axis. Since you seem to be going in the right direction with your ellipses, I will mark you lesson as complete. The last advice I will give you here is to keep practicing a bit on your ellipses, for instance by giving ellipse related exercises priority in your future warmup routine. Remember to draw from your shoulder, ghost as long as you need and after that place the mark without a second thought.

Thank you so much!! I'll definitely continue to work on the ellipses! And move on to the 250 box challenge!

Thank you again! :D

A lot of my students use these. The last time I used them was when I was in high school, and at the time I felt that they dried out pretty quickly, though I may have simply been mishandling them. As with all pens, make sure you're capping them when they're not in use, and try not to apply too much pressure. You really only need to be touching the page, not mashing your pen into it.

On the flipside, they tend to be on the cheaper side of things, so if you're just getting started (beginners tend to have poor pressure control), you're probably going to destroy a few pens - going cheaper in that case is not a bad idea.

In terms of line weight, the sizes are pretty weird. 08 corresponds to 0.5mm, which is what I recommend for the drawabox lessons, whereas 05 corresponds to 0.45mm, which is pretty close and can also be used.
