Lesson 4: Applying Construction to Insects and Arachnids

Hello there, I just finished the homework for lesson 4.
I would highly appreciate any kind of feedback you want to give, thanks.
I think you're showing a really strong sense of how to capture the illusion that you're drawing 3D forms. You're doing a great job of establishing the relationships between those forms on the page, using the sausage method, etc. Just a couple things:
Your linework is definitely kind of sketchy, you go back over lines a lot and may need to hold yourself back a little and apply the ghosting method a little more.
You only did it on the cockroach, but don't forget the notes from lesson 2's texture section about form shading.
Other than that, really great work.
Next Steps:
Move onto lesson 5
Hi there, awesome feedback, it was really helpful and I'll definitely work on these points, thank you for your time.
Some of you may remember James Gurney's breathtaking work in the Dinotopia series. This is easily my favourite book on the topic of colour and light, and comes highly recommended by any artist worth their salt. While it speaks from the perspective of a traditional painter, the information in this book is invaluable for work in any medium.
