Lesson 1: Lines, Ellipses and Boxes

Some of the boxes in the rotated boxes exercise example have lines that are kind of going in random places on the axes... My understanding was that one set of lines in a particular box had to converge at the same VP (for that box/object alone). I assume that most of these were made with, as the Drawabox website puts it, an educated guess, but I wanted to make sure that I’m not misunderstanding anything. I spent several hours trying to wrap my mind around this exercise.
I couldn’t understand what I was doing at first, but then I started getting it once I found a good enough pattern of VPs. This made me wonder about how one manages to understand with VPs outside of the page.
