Hey Jansiva

After the first few pages, I can already see a more stable performance on the boxes regarding perspective. The line extensions show where you went wrong and it feels like you incorporated that learning for the later boxes.

When you draw the front face of the box, try to draw the hatching properly from border to border. Many of your lines either start after the border, overshoot it on the other side or are not properly drawn in another way. Despite it not being the focus of this task, you should try to make an overall good drawing, as in future exercises, having incomplete/wonky lines messes up the image you want to create.

That being said, I think you have gained from this exercise and are advanced enough to start the next lesson.

Cheers,

Ashielf

Pentel Pocket Brush Pen

Pentel Pocket Brush Pen

This is a remarkable little pen. Technically speaking, any brush pen of reasonable quality will do, but I'm especially fond of this one. It's incredibly difficult to draw with (especially at first) due to how much your stroke varies based on how much pressure you apply, and how you use it - but at the same time despite this frustration, it's also incredibly fun.

Moreover, due to the challenge of its use, it teaches you a lot about the nuances of one's stroke. These are the kinds of skills that one can carry over to standard felt tip pens, as well as to digital media. Really great for doodling and just enjoying yourself.
