Hello! Good attempt on the boxes!

But All those boxes have convergence super extreme. On shallow perspective boxes the lines should be close to parallel, and the vanishing points should be far away from the page, never in the same page. Here's one example of a shallow perspective box from one of your boxes

Next Steps:

-20 more boxes with shallow perspective

When finished, reply to this critique with your revisions.

here. i tried more of these. few mistakes here and there. and if you see double lines then they are not me correcting my mistakes. those came because i was ghosting.

That's looking better, good job! Try to experiment from now on with more types of boxes as they're a bit too similar, but you're on the right track. Take a look at this diagram to give you some ideas.

That said I think you're ready for lesson 2, good luck and keep up the good work!

Next Steps:

lesson 2

Color and Light by James Gurney

Color and Light by James Gurney

Some of you may remember James Gurney's breathtaking work in the Dinotopia series. This is easily my favourite book on the topic of colour and light, and comes highly recommended by any artist worth their salt. While it speaks from the perspective of a traditional painter, the information in this book is invaluable for work in any medium.
