I think all your boxes are completely parallel ( I mean, not dramatically drawn) -which is nice, to certain point-. However, in that fight of "maintaining them not to dramatic" you sometimes diverge the vp, rather than going to the same. So, I'd recommend to draw a more dramatized boxes -it can help you to not stray from the vp-.

And I noticed that, in your last page, in the box on the left side of the box in the inferior right corner you extended the "vertical lines" wrong.

But the vp are fine overall (except for the thing I said above).

Good job, and good luck on lesson 2!

Next Steps:

Yes, go ahead to lesson 2. But maybe drawing a few foreshortened boxes when practicing can help. Keep that in mind!

Hello:

Thanks for your detailed and careful critique.

It is no need to rush to next lesson,

so I did one more page of the dramatized boxes (I suppose you mean foreshortening boxes). https://imgur.com/gallery/PCqSJm2

Hope this looks fine.

Great job! Either way, I'd recommend to, when drawing boxes overall, follow the same "degree" of foreshortening for the entire box. That way, you won't generate too many divergences.

Next Steps:

Go to lesson 2!

The Art of Blizzard Entertainment

While I have a massive library of non-instructional art books I've collected over the years, there's only a handful that are actually important to me. This is one of them - so much so that I jammed my copy into my overstuffed backpack when flying back from my parents' house just so I could have it at my apartment. My back's been sore for a week.

The reason I hold this book in such high esteem is because of how it puts the relatively new field of game art into perspective, showing how concept art really just started off as crude sketches intended to communicate ideas to storytellers, designers and 3D modelers. How all of this focus on beautiful illustrations is really secondary to the core of a concept artist's job. A real eye-opener.
