This is the second time I'm uploading lesson 1, I messed up the upload on the fist try and linked to only one image. Here's the discription from the previous post:

"I need to mention two things. 1, I started out with a pen that tended to bleed a lot. I switched it out at the and, hence the different colour. 2, I managed to misplace the first page of superimposed lines so I redid it at the end."

Hey crabmaster I'll critique your work.

So first thing first as a general look I can say that you did splendidly.

but for a more in depth critique

1) lines

your lines are all confident and smooth, and don't seem to be wobbly to me. However in your superimposed lines your longer lines in particular tend to bend a lot, so if i were you I'd try to counter that by being more mindful and drawing lines pointing a bit more to the opposite direction. In addition I think your first attempt with the blue pen (meaning the second page) is much better than the last, the last one feels more rushed, don't rush man and ghost those lines.

As for the ghosted line you did well, but I'd vary the length of your lines, they are all quite short.

2) ellipses

before everything else I'd say to pay attention to how many times you draw your ellipses, Uncomfortable said that you can draw three lines per ellipse max, you drew in more than three times in many of your ellipses.

The flow of the ellipses is good and the ellipses don't look bumpy, good job!

funnels are well centered, well done!

3) boxes

you honestly did a good job in general in every exercise, the rotated boxes is very good in particular!

I know this is a very brief and kinda pointless critique for this part but I honestly don't see any mistakes, so sorry if this part is quite lacking.

Next Steps:

I think you did very well, take your time in the 250 boxes challenge and good luck with your art journey! :)

Thanks for the critique, I was not aware of many of the things that you brought up.

Like the Staedtlers, these also come in a set of multiple weights - the ones we use are F. One useful thing in these sets however (if you can't find the pens individually) is that some of the sets come with a brush pen (the B size). These can be helpful in filling out big black areas.

Still, I'd recommend buying these in person if you can, at a proper art supply store. They'll generally let you buy them individually, and also test them out beforehand to weed out any duds.
