I won’t ask why, but I will tell you that there’s a lot of really obvious mistakes in your boxes, that would’ve been pointed out to you if you had. Anyway, hello, and let’s take this one step at a time~
First things first, a lot of your correction lines are incorrect. Read about this here: https://drawabox.com/lesson/250boxes/1/wrongdirection Basically, if you’re using the Y method, the correction lines extend in the 3 directions of said Y. Ideally, they’d also converge in that direction... That brings us to mistake #2: a lot of these lines don’t actually converge- they diverge (i.e. head away from the viewer.) I was trying to find a box where they don’t do this, to show you as an example, but it’s very difficult to, because their foreshortening is quite shallow (another mistake.) There’s a few more mistakes, too, but we’ll deal with the more pressing ones first, before getting to them.
Next Steps:
So, what I think we should do is take things one step at a time. I’d like you to do 1 more page of boxes (5-6), all of which have dramatic foreshortening. What that means is that their vanishing points will not be far off into the distance, but close to them. So if you look at this section here: https://drawabox.com/lesson/250boxes/1/foreshortening you’re aiming for a box similar to the one on the left, not the one on the right.
