For an official homework submission for critique please just put the homework as listed through the lessons in an album. This means you want:

2 Pages Superimposed Lines

1 Page Ghosted Lines

2 Pages Ghosted Planes

2 Pages Table of Ellipses

2 Pages Ellipses in Planes

1 Page Ellipses in Funnels

1 Page Plotted Perspective Boxes

2 Pages Rough Perspective Boxes

1 Page Rotated Box

2 Pages Organic Perspective Boxes.

I don't need any redos that the community asked you do either just pick your best/latest versions of each. Once you get those all in an album I'll be able to do your critique. Thanks.

No problem, So starting with your superimposed lines these are off to a good start. You are keeping a clear starting point on these and while you are struggling a bit more with longer lines and curves that is normal and will improve with practice. Your ghosted lines and planes are coming along pretty well. I'm noticing a bit of wavering and arcing and that typically happens when you revert back to drawing with your wrist. Just make sure you are drawing from your shoulder as much as possible. Your accuracy with your linework isn't quite there yet but you are on the right track so keep up with the ghosting as the accuracy will grow with practice.

Your table of ellipses are looking pretty good. You are doing a great job drawing through all of your ellipses here and focusing on getting a smooth ellipse shape. Once again your accuracy is a bit hit or miss on these but that is normal for this stage and you are at least attempting to stay within the bounds. Your ellipses in planes were a bit more of a struggle and that might be becasue you are dealing with larger ellipses than the ones you drew for your tables. Still you are doing a good job drawing through and focusing more on trying to maintain a smooth ellipse shape which is your priority right now. You might want to work these larger ellipses into your warmups more as your accuracy on these definitely could use some more attention. Your ellipses in funnels are okay. You might want to consider starting with a more narrow degree in the center on these and widen the degree as the ellipses move outwards in the funnel. https://drawabox.com/lesson/1/13/step3 For the most part you are on the right track with your ellipses but there is lots of room for improvement here so keep up with practicing these during your warmups.

Plotted perspective looks good nothing to say here. The rough perspective exercises are looking okay for the most part. You are doing a good job extending your boxes back to check your work here. As you can see some of your perspective estimations were quite off but that will improve with mileage. I am noticing a bit of wavering and arcing to some of your linework here and like I said earlier I suspect it's a matter of you falling back into drawing from your wrist with these shorter lines or just simply not ghosting enough. So here's another reminder to always ghost your lines multiple times and to draw from the shoulder even on shorter lines like these.

The rotated box was clearly a bit of a struggle but you did a good job drawing through your boxes here and keeping your gaps pretty consistent. You are struggling quite a bit with the spatial thinking required here which is normal and you aren't actually rotating your boxes which is a pretty common mistake. Please check the lesson notes here https://drawabox.com/lesson/1/16/notrotating This exercise is always a good one to try again after you have completed the 250 box challenge to see how much you have improved. Good attempt. Your organic box exercises are looking pretty good. Your linework here is much improved over your rough perspective exercises which is great. You are having problems with box convergences throughout here but you will get a lot of practice with that during the 250 box challenge.

This was a really good submission overall and you clearly put in a lot of hard work here and it's paying off. I am noticing some big improvements as you worked through these pages particularly with your line quality. Still keep up your practice with your ellipses as those probably need the most attention at this point. I'm going to mark this as complete and good luck with the 250 box challenge. Keep up the hard work!

The Art of Blizzard Entertainment

While I have a massive library of non-instructional art books I've collected over the years, there's only a handful that are actually important to me. This is one of them - so much so that I jammed my copy into my overstuffed backpack when flying back from my parents' house just so I could have it at my apartment. My back's been sore for a week.

The reason I hold this book in such high esteem is because of how it puts the relatively new field of game art into perspective, showing how concept art really just started off as crude sketches intended to communicate ideas to storytellers, designers and 3D modelers. How all of this focus on beautiful illustrations is really secondary to the core of a concept artist's job. A real eye-opener.
